Radial Privacy Policy

Radial helps you build and maintain marketing websites with AI agents: on your own machine with the desktop app, or in the browser with Radial Cloud. It is operated by Radial LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company. This page covers the radial.to website, the Radial desktop app, and Radial Cloud. We collect as little as possible. On the website and in the desktop app, the only personal data we ask for is your email address, if you request early access. Radial Cloud keeps what it needs to run your team’s workspace, as described below.

The radial.to website

If you submit the early-access form, we store the email address you enter so we can contact you about Radial. It is kept in our email service (Loops), is never sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes, and is used for nothing besides early-access and product updates. Email support@radial.to any time to have your address removed.

The site keeps anonymous, cookieless analytics: page views and a few named events, such as clicking the download button, processed for us by PostHog and used only to improve Radial. No cookies are set and there is no cross-site tracking; a random anonymous ID lives in your browser’s local storage and is tied to nothing about you. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses of requests) to operate the service.

The Radial desktop app

Radial runs locally on your machine. Your projects and source code stay on your computer; Radial does not upload them to us, and we operate no server that receives your code or browsing activity from the app.

Radial works by driving coding agents you install and sign into yourself (such as Claude Code or Codex). When you use those agents, your prompts and relevant project content are sent to the respective provider (Anthropic, OpenAI) under your own account and their privacy terms, the same as running those tools in a terminal. Radial adds no collection of your content on top.

The app does keep anonymous usage statistics so we can see where Radial works and where it fails: an event name (such as “project opened”), the app and macOS version, and a random install ID that identifies an installation, not a person. These events never include your code, file names, project names, prompts, URLs, or any client content. They are processed for us by PostHog, are used only to improve Radial, and are never sold or shared for anyone else’s purposes. A switch in the app’s settings turns them off; when it is off, the app sends nothing. The full list of events we record is published in the docs.

Handoff links (sharing a site with a teammate) use a small relay we operate, and it is built so we cannot read what you share. The app encrypts the handoff on your machine; the decryption key travels only inside the link itself and is never sent to us. Our relay stores an unreadable encrypted blob, deletes it automatically within 30 days at most (7 by default), and you can revoke a link from the app at any time. Treat a handoff link like the access it grants: anyone with the full link can use it while it lasts.

Editor links (letting someone edit a site without a GitHub account) route that editor's clones and publishes through a publish service we operate. Their site's git data passes through our infrastructure in transit and is not stored. We keep only the link records needed to honor and revoke access, and aggregate event counts (a link was created, a publish happened); never file contents, and never anyone's GitHub credentials.

Radial Cloud

Radial Cloud at app.radial.to is where teams edit, review, and publish their marketing sites in the browser. Unlike the desktop app, it runs on our machines, so it keeps what it needs to work:

• Your account. Your name and email address, and the answers you give when you sign up: your company, what you do, your team size, the site you want to work on first, and how you heard of us. We also keep whether you opted in to product news by email.
• Sign-in. You sign in with a 6-digit code we email you, or with Google or GitHub. When you sign in with Google or GitHub, or connect GitHub to add a site, we keep the profile details and access tokens that service gives us. We also keep the IP address and browser of each signed-in session.
• Workspaces. Your workspaces and their settings, who is in them or invited, and each person’s role.
• Sites. The sites you add, the GitHub repository each one comes from, their settings, and the built files of sites we host.
• Comments and review links. Comments, the review links your team creates, and the names guests type when they use one.
• Changes and AI requests. Each change made to a site and who made it, and each request to the agent with its prompt, what it changed, and what it cost.
• API tokens. Only a hash of each token, never the token itself.
• Plan and billing. Your plan, its status, and your AI credit. Stripe keeps your card details; we do not.

Your code in Radial Cloud

GitHub is the source of truth, and your code stays in your own repository. A workspace connects GitHub through the Radial.to GitHub App, which you install and can limit to the repositories you choose. Radial reads those repositories. To show a live preview, it copies a site’s code onto that site’s own preview machine and runs the site’s development server there. Radial commits edits and the agent’s changes back to your repository: first to a draft branch called radial/draft, then to the branches you publish to.

We store site environment variables, such as a CMS token, encrypted, and pass them to that site’s preview machine. The agent never sees them.

The AI agent in Radial Cloud

Radial’s AI agent (Claude Code) runs on our machines. To do the work you ask for, we send your prompt, the page, and the relevant site code to the model provider: Anthropic for Claude models, OpenAI for GPT models, and Cloudflare (Workers AI) for open models such as Kimi and GLM. We meter every model call so we can charge it against your AI credit. We do not use your content to train AI models.

You can also connect your own AI tools, such as Claude Code, Codex, or any MCP client, with a personal API token you create in Settings. A token acts as you, and you can turn it off at any time. Those tools run under your own accounts and their providers’ privacy terms.

Email from Radial Cloud

We send service email through Loops: sign-in codes, invites, comment notifications, requests to publish, and billing and plan notices. In Settings, you can choose fewer comment emails, or none, for each workspace. We send product news only if you opt in.

Cookies

Radial Cloud uses only essential cookies: the ones that keep you signed in and let you into previews. It has no analytics or ad trackers. The radial.to website sets no cookies.

Services that handle Radial Cloud data

• Cloudflare runs the app, its database and file storage, the preview machines, the sites we host, and the open models.
• Stripe handles payments and keeps your card details.
• Loops sends our email.
• Anthropic runs the Claude models.
• OpenAI runs the GPT models.
• GitHub connects your repositories through the Radial.to GitHub App and handles GitHub sign-in.
• Google handles Google sign-in.
• Better Stack checks whether our services are up. It sees no customer content.

Your rights

Ask at support@radial.to and we will show you what we hold about you, correct it, export it, or delete it. For the website and the desktop app, that is at most your email address. Deleting a Radial Cloud account removes your account and personal details from Radial Cloud. Comments and changes you made in a workspace stay with that workspace, without your name, and code already in your GitHub repository stays yours.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes to how we handle early-access emails will be announced to that list before they take effect.
